Usually, to find the best home care agency, potential clients rely on their friends. If the senior is in rehab, the facility is legally required to provide the names of 3 home care agencies. The relatives can then choose from these agencies after calling them and reviewing their websites.

In our case, we are getting potential clients through the internet. Late last year, a woman called us from Italy. She said she had found TOUCHING HANDS CARE GROUP on the Internet. She was looking for an agency to take care of her parents living in Laguna Woods. Exchange of emails and a virtual meeting with the family followed, and they were impressed with us. We’re currently awaiting a final decision from them.

We are committed to supporting all seniors in need of caregivers. Despite the pandemic, our loyal contacts have been referring us to families needing a caregiver for their loved ones. Two contacts have been referred to us. They are under our care since last year, and their friends had been referring us, too.

We recently got one client referred by friends of the family. She had been under our care since November of last year.

The recent senior that‘s been under our care since November 2020 needed short hours only; 4 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening. Despite the extra challenge of finding caregivers willing to work such short hours, TOUCHING HANDS CARE GROUP had proven its dedication to supporting every senior. When one caregiver working a two-hour shift opted to quit, the founder, Lida L. DeCou, stepped in. The wife was so delighted with this act of the owner.
